Eagle Ford, Texas

About the PlayEagle Ford

The Eagle Ford formation stretches across a wide swath of South Texas and represents a more mature stage of development than our other U.S. resource plays. Seven years after we entered the region, our focus has transitioned from rapid growth to efficient development and capturing cash flow from existing wells. Our incremental but steady improvement in drilling efficiencies has been achieved through process optimization, the use of high-spec rigs and experienced crews, and numerous small innovations.

Our advanced SCADA and digital operating control center drives increased efficiency through automated production trend monitoring and automated alerts on our more than 1,500 producing wells. Roughly two-thirds of our acreage is located in Karnes and Atascosa counties.

We continue to increase well productivity through completion optimization and efficiency gains while bringing on fewer wells.
